Citizens for Brentwood Green Space (CBGS) does not endorse candidates but provides voter education tools to help residents understand where candidates stand on issues that impact our community. Ahead of the 2025 Brentwood City Commission race, CBGS invited all candidates to share their views on parks, land preservation, and growth management. The survey asked about priorities such as protecting existing green space, acquiring future parkland, expanding walking and biking trails, and balancing development with conservation goals. Candidates were also asked how they would engage the community in shaping the city’s long-term vision for open space.
The responses offered insight into how each candidate approaches the challenges and opportunities tied to Brentwood’s growth. While perspectives varied, the survey highlighted a shared recognition of the importance of parks and natural areas in maintaining the city’s quality of life. Full survey questions and candidate responses are available in the linked PDF for residents who want to explore the details.
