Citizens for Brentwood Green Space (CBGS) recently planted a tree in memory of Cynthia Kumatz, a gesture that both honors her life and adds lasting beauty to one of Brentwood’s cherished green spaces. This living tribute reflects CBGS’s mission to preserve and enhance the natural areas that make our community special.
CBGS also offers opportunities for others to make donations in honor or memory of loved ones. When making a gift, donors can include the name of the individual they wish to honor and designate who should be notified of their thoughtfulness. CBGS will send a notification to the person or family, without mentioning the donation amount, and will post an acknowledgment on the organization’s website. These honorary and memorial gifts not only celebrate people who have touched our lives but also help protect Brentwood’s green space for generations to come.
